The notice, issued on August 31, 2026, proposes a demand for Goods and Services Tax (GST), interest, and penalty totaling ₹87.31 crore for the financial year 2022-2023.

The proposed demand is based on several alleged issues, including ineligible Input Tax Credit (ITC), excess ITC availed, and differential tax liability identified through E-waybill records.
