Zydus Wellness Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Kapil Sharma as its Chief Revenue Officer (India and Indian subcontinent). This strategic appointment, effective September 1, 2026, positions Mr. Sharma as a key leader within the company’s senior management. With over 28 years of experience, including extensive work with Procter & Gamble, Mr. Sharma brings significant expertise in sales, commercial leadership, and digital commerce to Zydus Wellness.

Senior Leadership Appointment

Zydus Wellness Limited has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Kapil Sharma to the executive role of Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing operations for India and the Indian subcontinent. This significant addition to the senior management team is effective from September 1, 2026. The decision was made by the Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Experienced Leadership

Mr. Kapil Sharma brings a wealth of experience to Zydus Wellness, with over 28 years in the sales and commercial sector. Notably, he spent 25 years with Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he held leadership positions such as VP-Gillette for India and the Indian subcontinent. In this capacity, he was responsible for the grooming portfolio, which included brands like Gillette, Venus, and Braun. His tenure at P&G also saw him lead diverse functions including Sales, Trade Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer strategies, Market Strategy, Regional Business Leadership, eBusiness & Innovation, and Digital Commerce. He was instrumental in shaping P&G’s global digital commerce strategy from the USA and drove significant e-commerce growth and profitability in India and Asia.

Prior to his extensive work with P&G, Mr. Sharma also spent 3 years with Asea Brown Boveri. Academically, he holds an MBA degree in Marketing from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow.

Role and Responsibilities

As Chief Revenue Officer, Mr. Sharma will be a core member of Zydus Wellness’s senior management, tasked with driving revenue growth and shaping the company’s commercial strategy across its key markets.
