The new property, Sterling Naman Bastar, located in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, marks Sterling’s entry into the region. This expansion is part of Sterling’s strategy to develop and promote lesser-known tourist destinations.

Thomas Cook (India) Limited announced today the opening of Sterling Naman Bastar, Jagdalpur, marking a significant milestone as it becomes the 80th resort in Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited’s India portfolio. This launch signifies Sterling’s strategic expansion into Chhattisgarh, aiming to bring lesser-known destinations like Bastar into the mainstream travel circuit.

Bastar: A New Tourism Frontier

The new resort is strategically located on Chitrakote Road, serving as a comfortable gateway to explore Jagdalpur and the wider Bastar region. The property spans approximately 3.21 acres and features 45 rooms across five categories, including garden-facing rooms, suites, and a private pool villa. It is designed to offer guests an immersive experience of Bastar’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, including waterfalls, forests, limestone caves, tribal markets, and Dhokra craftsmanship.

Strategic Expansion and Guest Experience
