RVNL: Secures ₹5,778 Crore in New Orders via Competitive Bidding

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has successfully secured new works worth ₹5,778.25 Crore through competitive bidding during the year, significantly boosting its order book. This marks a new phase of growth, with the cumulative value of bid-secured work orders reaching ₹59,987 Crore. Notably, the company also signed MoUs to reinforce its diversification strategy and collaborative growth. These achievements reflect RVNL’s expanding capabilities and its commitment to developing India’s infrastructure.

RVNL Strengthens Order Book Through Competitive Bidding

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has achieved a significant milestone by securing new works worth ₹5,778.25 Crore through competitive bidding during the financial year. This accomplishment takes the cumulative value of work orders secured through bidding to an impressive ₹59,987 Crore, marking a substantial addition to its diversified order book and further solidifying its growth trajectory.

Strategic Collaborations and Diversification

In addition to these bidding successes, RVNL has also entered into strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited and the Government of Goa. These collaborations aim to reinforce the company’s commitment to diversification and to foster growth through strategic partnerships.

The MoU with Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited focuses on enhancing collaboration in rolling stock manufacturing and maintenance, metro coaches and trainsets, EPC, and allied infrastructure projects, as well as technology-driven innovations. The MoU with the Government of Goa aims to facilitate collaboration in identifying and implementing infrastructure projects, with RVNL acting as the Project Executing Agency on mutually agreed terms and conditions. These initiatives reflect RVNL’s adaptability and its vision to scale greater heights beyond its traditional railway sector operations.
