Fortis Healthcare: Q1 FY27 Earnings Show 17.5% Revenue Growth

Fortis Healthcare Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Fortis Healthcare Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company posted a consolidated revenue of INR 2,545 crore, marking a significant 17.5% growth compared to the corresponding quarter in the previous year (Q1 FY26).

Hospital and Diagnostics Segment Growth

The hospital business demonstrated robust performance with revenues increasing by 19% to INR 2,187 crore. Concurrently, the diagnostics business, operated under Agilus Diagnostics, recorded a gross revenue growth of 10.2%, reaching INR 407 crore in Q1 FY27.

EBITDA and Margins

Consolidated operating EBITDA, before ESOP expenses, saw an improvement of 15.8%, amounting to INR 568 crore. The operating EBITDA margin stood at 22.3%. The hospital business reported an operating EBITDA of INR 471 crore with a margin of 21.5%. The diagnostics segment’s operating EBITDA grew to INR 97 crore, with margins improving to 23.9% from 23.0% in the prior year quarter.

Strategic Initiatives and Outlook

During the quarter, Fortis Healthcare continued its strategic expansion, including acquisitions and investments in medical infrastructure like robotic surgery. The company also entered into an O&M agreement for a new hospital in Cuttack, marking its entry into the Odisha market. Looking ahead, Fortis Healthcare remains focused on leveraging its cluster strategy, enhancing clinical capabilities, and driving sustainable growth across both its hospital and diagnostics verticals.
