Jindal Leasefin Limited disclosed its standalone un-audited financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2027, ending on June 30, 2026. The company’s top line, Revenue from Operations, stood at ₹0.00 lakhs, mirroring the previous year’s corresponding quarter. Total Income, including other income, was reported at ₹247.68 lakhs, an increase from ₹239.00 lakhs in the same quarter of the previous year.

Profitability and Expenses

Total expenses for the quarter were ₹5.36 lakhs, significantly lower than the ₹9.87 lakhs reported in the preceding quarter and ₹7.39 lakhs in the same quarter of the prior year. This reduction in expenses, however, was offset by other income factors, resulting in a Profit/(Loss) before tax of ₹237.81 lakhs for the quarter. After accounting for tax expenses of ₹120.21 lakhs, the net Profit/(Loss) for the period stood at ₹117.60 lakhs, a marked decrease from the previous quarter’s ₹213.32 lakhs profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Other Comprehensive Income and Total Comprehensive Income

The company’s Other Comprehensive Income (OCI) saw a substantial negative impact, primarily due to a loss arising on Fair Valuation of Investments amounting to ₹314.37 lakhs. While there was a gain from items that will not be reclassified to profit or loss, the net effect of OCI resulted in a total loss of ₹232.63 lakhs. Consequently, the Total Comprehensive Income for the period, comprising Profit/(Loss) and OCI, was ₹19.49 lakhs, compared to a loss of ₹99.56 lakhs in the same quarter of the previous year.

Earnings Per Share and Key Financials

Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, was reported at (₹0.18), a decrease from ₹3.91 in the previous quarter and ₹3.05 in the same quarter of the prior year. Paid-up equity share capital remained stable at ₹300.89 lakhs, while reserves stood at ₹236.59 lakhs.

Related Party Transaction Disclosure

The company has disclosed that during the period ended June 30, 2026, it granted a loan of ₹563.20 lakhs to Jindal Dyechem Industries Private Limited, a related party. The loan carries an interest rate of 6% per annum, payable annually. As of June 30, 2026, no interest income in respect of this loan has been accrued or recognized by the Company.
