RVNL: Reports Q1 FY27 Standalone Profit of ₹155.62 Crore

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has officially released its unaudited standalone financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, ending on June 30, 2026. The Board of Directors, following a meeting on August 11, 2026, approved these results. The company posted a profit after tax of ₹155.62 crore for the quarter.

Standalone Financial Performance Highlights

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, RVNL’s standalone revenue from operations stood at ₹4,302.81 crore. The total income for the period was ₹4,455.25 crore. Following all expenses, including operating costs, employee benefits, and finance costs, the profit before tax was ₹216.86 crore. After accounting for a total tax expense of ₹61.24 crore, the net profit attributable to equity holders for the quarter was ₹155.62 crore.

Consolidated Financial Performance Overview

On a consolidated basis, which includes its subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures, RVNL reported total income of ₹4,462.29 crore for the same quarter. The consolidated profit after tax for the period was ₹159.52 crore. This includes the group’s share of profit from associates and joint ventures, amounting to ₹6.16 crore.

Other Comprehensive Income

The company also reported its Other Comprehensive Income (OCI). For the standalone results, net OCI not to be reclassified to Profit or Loss in subsequent periods was ₹0.47 crore. On a consolidated basis, the net OCI not to be reclassified to Profit or Loss was ₹0.47 crore, while items to be reclassified resulted in a net loss of ₹5.54 crore.

Key Financial Metrics

The total comprehensive income for the period on a standalone basis was ₹156.09 crore. The paid-up equity share capital remained stable at ₹2,085.02 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter were ₹0.75 basic and diluted.
