Jain Irrigation: Q1 FY27 Consolidated Revenue Steady, EBITDA Declines 18.7%

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. has released its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Consolidated revenues remained broadly steady year-on-year at ₹1,508.4 crore, while consolidated EBITDA saw a decline of 18.7% to ₹164.3 crore. The Hi-Tech Agri division reported a revenue of ₹450.8 crore, and the Plastic division recorded ₹509.9 crore.

Jain Irrigation Reports Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), which concluded on June 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated revenues were reported at ₹1,508.4 crore, showing a slight decrease of 2.4% compared to the ₹1,545.6 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY26).

Consolidated Segment Performance

Across its consolidated operations, the Hi-Tech Agri segment contributed ₹450.8 crore to the revenue, marking a year-on-year decrease of 22.0%. The Plastic division generated ₹509.9 crore, experiencing a marginal decline of 0.1%. The Agro Processing segment, however, showed strong growth, with revenues increasing by 19.7% to ₹547.7 crore.

EBITDA and Margin Trends

Consolidated EBITDA for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹164.3 crore, a decrease of 18.7% from the ₹202.0 crore in Q1 FY26. The EBITDA margin for the consolidated entity was 10.9%, down from 13.1% in the prior-year period. The Hi-Tech Agri segment’s EBITDA margin contracted to 14.4%, while the Plastic division’s margin improved to 11.3%.

Standalone Performance Overview

On a standalone basis, Jain Irrigation reported revenues of ₹699.3 crore for Q1 FY27, a significant drop of 23.9% from ₹919.2 crore in Q1 FY26. Standalone EBITDA also saw a substantial decline of 31.7% to ₹84.3 crore. The Hi-Tech Agri division contributed ₹450.8 crore in revenue, a decrease of 22.2% year-on-year, while the Plastic division’s revenue fell by 26.9% to ₹248.5 crore.

Profitability and Cash Flow

For Q1 FY27, the consolidated Adjusted PAT was ₹3.1 crore, a sharp decrease from ₹30.5 crore in Q1 FY26. Reported PAT was -₹17.8 crore compared to ₹11.2 crore in the prior year. Cash PAT stood at ₹55.9 crore. On a standalone basis, Adjusted PAT was ₹7.0 crore, down from ₹26.4 crore, and reported PAT was -₹13.9 crore compared to ₹7.1 crore.

Working Capital Management

The company also provided updates on its working capital cycle. On a consolidated basis, the cycle improved by 3 days sequentially to 183 days as of June 30, 2026. A substantial improvement of 27 days was noted on a year-on-year basis. Standalone working capital cycle also saw improvements.
