The company posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹143 crore, marking a significant 20% growth compared to the same quarter in the previous year. This increase in profitability was supported by a substantial 24% year-over-year expansion in its Gross Assets Under Management (AUM), which reached ₹11,284 crore.

Key Financial Highlights

The company’s performance metrics for Q1 FY27 include a Return on Assets (RoA) of 5.8% and a Return on Equity (RoE) of 17.5%. The Networth of the company stood at ₹3,352 crore as of June 2026, with a liquidity of ₹2,423 crore. Cost of funds remained stable at 8.2%, and spreads were also stable at 6.6% during the quarter.

Operational Update and Asset Quality

During Q1 FY27, India Shelter Finance consciously transitioned to recognizing disbursements upon cheque realization rather than handover, a change aligned with stronger operational controls. This one-time accounting shift temporarily impacted reported disbursements but is not expected to affect long-term operational performance. Asset quality metrics remain strong, with Gross Stage 3 assets at 1.5% and Net Stage 3 at 1.2% as of June 2026.
