Afcons Infrastructure Limited has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for a vital infrastructure project. The contract is for the Design and Construction of a Desalinated Water Conveyance Tunnel, a critical component to boost Mumbai’s water supply network. The tunnel will extend from the proposed Water Pumping Station at Manori to Charkop, and further to Mahavir Nagar in Kandivali, Mumbai.

The total value of this significant project is pegged at ₹1,918 Crores, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) costs.
