SAMHI Hotels Delivers Robust Q1 FY2027 Performance

SAMHI Hotels announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (ending June 30, 2026), showcasing significant year-on-year growth in key financial metrics. Total income increased by 10.8% on a comparable basis to reach ₹3,083 million, while reported total income saw a 7.3% YoY increase. Consolidated EBITDA experienced a comparable growth of 12.1% YoY, amounting to ₹1,013 million.

Key Financial Highlights

The company reported a Same-store RevPAR of ₹5,219, reflecting a 9.6% YoY increase, driven by an occupancy level of 79.3%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) before exceptional items stood at ₹327 million, a substantial 121.7% YoY increase. PAT for the quarter was ₹249 million, marking a 29.7% YoY growth. The Net Debt to EBITDA ratio was reported at 3.2x, indicating a strong balance sheet.

Strategic Growth and Pipeline

SAMHI Hotels detailed its strategic focus on embedded growth, highlighting a strong pipeline consisting of 7 new big-box hotels with 1,669 rooms. The company is also expanding its leisure segment through its investment in RARE India, which comprises 75 hotels and 1,046 rooms across 15 states. Furthermore, SAMHI is actively developing several iconic assets in key markets, including a W hotel in HITEC City, Hyderabad, and the Westin & Fairfield combo-hotel in Navi Mumbai, which will be SAMHI’s largest hotel development.

Operational Performance and Future Outlook

The company reported strong occupancy levels of 79.3%, demonstrating resilience despite geopolitical headwinds. Revenue growth was in line with guidance at approximately 11% comparable YoY. SAMHI is focused on increasing its upscale share to ~60% by FY2030 through rebranding and renovations, aiming to boost overall revenue per key. The integration of RARE India with Marriott Bonvoy is also progressing, with pilot properties targeted for integration in H2 FY27.
