INOX India Ltd (INOXCVA) has released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, ended June 30, 2026. The company has demonstrated a robust performance, with its revenue for the quarter growing by 8.3% year-on-year to ₹382 crore. The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) also saw an increase of 1.4% year-on-year, reaching ₹90 crore, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 23.5%.
Profitability and Order Book Strength
Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹61 crore, maintaining a PAT margin of 15.9%. The company’s export revenue was a significant contributor, accounting for 58% of the total revenue, amounting to ₹222 crore. This reflects continued international demand for INOX India’s products and services. Furthermore, the company secured substantial new orders totaling ₹532 crore during the quarter, pushing its total order book to a record ₹1,686 crore. Export orders alone now exceed ₹1,140 crore, providing strong revenue visibility for the upcoming quarters.
Segment Performance and Strategic Developments
The Industrial Gases division contributed 53% to the overall revenue. During Q1 FY27, this division secured a major order from the space exploration industry for large cryogenic storage tanks, reinforcing INOX India’s position in the global aerospace sector. The disposable cylinder business also saw healthy repeat orders, and the company entered the semiconductor infrastructure market with initial orders for transportation tanks. The LNG Division contributed 22% of the revenue, with renewed momentum in LNG fuelling infrastructure and the commencement of installation activities for a mini-LNG terminal project in The Bahamas.
The Cryo Scientific Division (CSD) contributed 20% to the revenue, securing a prestigious order from CERN for specialized cryogenic modules. The company also received another order from ITER, France, further strengthening its advanced scientific cryogenic engineering capabilities. The Stainless-Steel Keg business continued to execute orders from leading global customers in the brewery sector.
Key strategic developments include a partnership for manufacturing modular water micro-factories, receiving the AS9100D aerospace quality certification, and a skill development center partnership to support India’s Semiconductor Mission.
