The key feature of Aerolife Mini™ is its design: it is described as India’s first portable and foldable spacer, offering exceptional convenience for daily use. Zydus secured the rights to launch this device through an exclusive licensing agreement with AeroDel Technology Innovations Pvt. Ltd.
The context for this launch is the significant burden of chronic respiratory diseases in India, such as asthma and COPD. The company noted that suboptimal inhaler technique remains a major hurdle, with real-world studies showing nearly 94% of patients make at least one critical error, leading to reduced therapeutic benefit.
