Wipro Joins MIT’s Industrial Liaison Program to Accelerate Tech Innovation

Wipro has joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) to accelerate frontier tech innovation. This collaboration will allow Wipro to access MIT’s resources and build innovative solutions for future technology challenges. Wipro aims to engage with MIT’s faculty and researchers to advance innovation in key areas like agentic AI, robotics, quantum computing, and cyber resilience.

Strategic Partnership with MIT

Wipro Limited has announced its membership in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Industrial Liaison Program (MIT ILP). This program is designed to enable companies worldwide to harness MIT’s resources to build innovative solutions for current and future technology challenges. The partnership was announced on February 4, 2026.

Through the MIT ILP, Wipro will engage with MIT’s faculty, researchers, and startup ecosystem to advance innovation in five strategic themes:

  • Quantum computing
  • Digital ledger technologies
