Voltas has announced a change in its leadership within the internal audit department. Amit Jaiswal has been appointed as the new Chief Internal Auditor, effective January 29, 2026. This appointment marks a significant transition in the company’s management structure.
Appointment of Amit Jaiswal
Amit Jaiswal, a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience in Internal Audit, has taken on the role of Chief Internal Auditor. He joined Voltas on December 8, 2025, as Head – Internal Audit. Previously, he was Global Head – Internal Audit at Cipla and started his career in 2007 with M/s Suresh Surana & Associates. His expertise includes internal audit, internal financial controls, risk management, forensic investigations, compliance, and analytics.
Resignation of Vijayalakshmi Suresh
The appointment of Amit Jaiswal follows the resignation of Vijayalakshmi Suresh, who previously held the position. Vijayalakshmi Suresh has resigned to pursue career opportunities outside Voltas, effective January 29, 2026. She will, however, remain with the company until March 31, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition. Suresh had been with Voltas since July 2017.
