Vodafone Idea Limited has confirmed a change in its leadership team. Mr. Murthy GVAS will conclude his tenure as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel, with his last day being October 5, 2025.
Appointment of New CFO
Effective October 6, 2025, Mr. Tejas Mehta will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel at Vodafone Idea. The decision was made based on the recommendation of the Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Tejas Mehta’s Background
Mr. Tejas Mehta, aged 49, joins Vodafone Idea from Mondelēz India, where he served as CFO. He has over 25 years of experience in both Indian and international markets, with a track record of leading large P&Ls through periods of growth and transformation. His experience includes building regional Centers of Excellence and strengthening business processes. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (1997). Previously, he held senior finance leadership roles, including Group Finance Controller in London.
