The company initially received a Memo dated October 10, 2025, followed by a Show Cause Notice dated November 15, 2025, from the Deputy Controller (Enforcement) Legal Metrology Department. After submitting a request for compounding, the Authority issued a Notice on December 31, 2025, directing Manyavar to deposit a compounding fee.

Payment of Compounding Fee

Vedant Fashions Limited deposited a compounding fee of ₹50,000 on January 9, 2026, to resolve the alleged violation. The payment has been formally communicated to the Authority via a letter dated January 12, 2026.

Minimal Financial Impact

The financial impact is limited to the compounding fee of ₹50,000. The company states that there are no other significant impacts on its financial or operational activities.
