Union Bank of India has announced the appointment of CA Dhirendra Jain as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective February 1, 2026. This follows the resignation of CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu, who will be relieved from his duties on January 31, 2026. Jain brings over 28 years of experience to the role, previously serving as General Manager – Finance and Accounts.

About Dhirendra Jain
CA Dhirendra Jain, aged 51 years, is a Chartered Accountant with more than 28 years of experience. He has held the position of General Manager – Finance and Accounts. Jain also brings experience in Credit – Large Corporate, having served as Regional Head and Zonal Head.
He also holds a Post Graduate degree in Commerce and is a Certified Associate from the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
