Union Bank of India has announced the appointment of CA Dhirendra Jain as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective February 1, 2026. This follows the resignation of CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu, who will be relieved from his duties on January 31, 2026. Dhirendra Jain brings over 28 years of experience to the role.

CA Dhirendra Jain has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Union Bank of India, effective February 1, 2026. This appointment follows the resignation of the current CFO, CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu.

New CFO Profile
CA Dhirendra Jain, aged 51 years, is a Chartered Accountant. He has over 28 years of experience as a seasoned Finance Professional.
He is currently working as the General Manager – Finance and Accounts. He possesses substantial banking experience in Credit – Large Corporate, and has served as both a Regional and Zonal Head within the Bank.
He also holds a Post Graduate degree in Commerce and is a Certified Associate from the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
