Trident Limited has successfully commissioned an additional 5.40 MW rooftop solar power project at its Budhni manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. This expansion brings the total installed solar power capacity at Budhni to 57.32 MWp. The company is financing this capacity enhancement through Internal Accrual and is focused on reducing its carbon footprint by adopting renewable energy sources, aligning with broader sustainability goals.

Expansion of Renewable Energy Capacity

Trident Limited announced the successful commissioning of a significant capacity addition to its renewable energy infrastructure. The company has added 5.40 MWp of Rooftop Solar Power capacity at its facility located in Budhni, Madhya Pradesh. This expansion follows the previous capacity utilization and was officially commissioned on March 27, 2026.

Total Installed Solar Capacity

With this new addition, the total installed capacity for Solar Power at the Budhni facility now stands at 57.32 MWp. The existing capacity utilization across the operations remains 100%, indicating efficient integration of the new power source into operations.

Investment and Funding Details

The estimated investment required for this proposed capacity addition was approximately INR 10 Crore. The financing for this project was secured through Internal Accrual, utilizing the company’s own financial resources.

The rationale behind commissioning this additional capacity is primarily the Adoption of Renewal Energy for Reduction in carbon footprint. This strategic move demonstrates Trident’s continued commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices and environmental responsibility.
