The transformer was initially supplied to TGV in August 2015 and was under warranty for 18 months. Following the warranty period, the transformer functioned for almost 10 years without any issues.

Recent Developments

TGV reported a problem with the transformer on October 11, 2025. TARIL’s engineer inspected the site on October 12, 2025. A rectification offer was submitted to TGV on October 13, 2025, as the transformer was out of warranty. TGV has yet to respond to the offer, and the cause of the problem will be known upon repair. TARIL emphasizes its commitment to service.
