Time Technoplast Ltd. announced the successful and timely completion of several strategic brownfield and greenfield expansion initiatives during Q4 of FY26. These projects—covering composite gas cylinders, recycling infrastructure, and IBC manufacturing—have commenced trial production. The expansions are designed to enhance capacity utilization, strengthen backward integration via recycling, and support future revenue growth across multiple packaging segments in India.
Successful Completion of Q4 FY26 Expansion Projects
Time Technoplast Ltd. is pleased to confirm the successful completion of key brownfield and greenfield expansion projects as previously outlined for Q4 FY26. Trial production has now commenced across these facilities, demonstrating the company’s commitment to timely execution and delivery.
Project Details: Greenfield Initiatives
1. Composite Gas Cylinder Manufacturing Plant (Morai, Gujarat)
The first major greenfield project involved commissioning a fully automatic imported plant under Phase I at Morai. This addition includes 600 cascades (~36,000 Cylinders). Phase II will consolidate existing capacity from the Daman facility, leading to a total combined capacity of 1,080 cascades (~66,000 cylinders). Key benefits include significant cost savings, improved capacity utilization, and freeing up space at Daman for future product expansion.
2. Greenfield Recycling Plant (TIME ECOTECH PVT. LTD. at Bhilad, Gujarat)
Aligned with the company’s Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) compliance strategy, a fully automated greenfield recycling plant has been established at Bhilad. This facility has an annual capacity of 12,000 Metric Tonnes (M.T.) for captive consumption, targeting the western region. This marks the first of three planned recycling plants across India, supporting regulatory compliance and long-term cost efficiency.
Project Details: Brownfield Enhancements
3. Automated Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) Facility (Silvassa)
The Phase I brownfield expansion for IBC manufacturing at Silvassa has been completed, establishing an installed annual capacity of 150,000 IBCs (Nos). Work on Phase II has already commenced and is expected to finalize by the end of FY26-27, which will increase total capacity to 300,000 IBCs (Nos) p.a. This enhances manufacturing capacity and strengthens presence in the industrial packaging segment.
4. Consolidation of PE Pipes Manufacturing (Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu)
A brownfield expansion at the Gummidipoondi facility was completed by developing a second shed on annexed land for a dedicated pipe manufacturing unit. This consolidation is designed to enhance efficiency, optimize space utilization, and improve throughput. The existing shed will now focus exclusively on packaging products, providing scalability for future growth and reducing administrative costs.
Conclusion
The timely completion of these four significant expansion projects underscores the Company’s dedication to strengthening stakeholder confidence and achieving sustainable growth through strategic investments in both greenfield and brownfield capacities.
