First Trial Order Secured for Hydrogen Technology

Time Technoplast Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has successfully secured its First Trial Order for a Type IV Composite Hydrogen Storage System. The approximate value of this order is ₹2.30 crore (inclusive of all taxes). The contract was awarded through an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor working for a Navaratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) operating in the energy sector.

Strategic Importance and Scope of Work

This project marks a significant milestone, as the end use of the system will directly support the Indian Armed Forces, emphasizing the Company’s role in India’s evolving clean energy and defence infrastructure. The scope includes the design, engineering, manufacture in India, supply, integration, and commissioning of a Hydrogen Cascade Storage System. The system will have a usable capacity of 200 kg at 250 bar.

Execution of the order will require careful coordination with end users, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and performance requirements applicable to defence and strategic installations.

Manufacturing Outlook and Growth Trajectory

The Company confirmed that its project for manufacturing high-pressure composite cylinders for both hydrogen and natural gas applications is at an advanced stage. Commercial production is anticipated to commence in Q1 FY 2026-27. Management views this development as a major opportunity to accelerate growth, strengthen market leadership in composite gas storage solutions, and create sustained long-term value for stakeholders.
