CESTAT Appeal Outcome
The Company’s appeal before the Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) concerning the CENVAT Credit on Outward Freight, amounting to Rs.2.33 Crores, has been addressed. The CESTAT has set aside the previous order and remanded the matter back to the Original Authority. The order was issued on January 16, 2026, and physically collected from the CESTAT office on January 20, 2026, at 4:45 PM.
Other Similar Disputes
The announcement also indicates that other disputes of a similar nature are currently pending with various statutory authorities. These disputes, as included in the letter dated August 14, 2023, amount to Rs.4.71 crores.
