Project Overview
The BharatNet program is a Government of India initiative aimed at bridging the digital divide between urban and rural communities by creating a robust middle-mile network. Tejas Networks will deploy its TJ1400 family of next-generation access and aggregation routers for this project.
Deployment Details
The TJ1400 products will be deployed in 9 states including Bihar, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh, along with 5 union territories. This deployment will cover over 57,000 Gram Panchayats and 2000 Blocks across the country. Over 50,000 TJ1400 routers will be used in this phase.
