Tech Mahindra has announced that its subsidiary, Comviva Technologies Limited, has incorporated a new step-down subsidiary named Yabx Technologies Zambia Limited (Yabx Zambia) on December 12, 2025. The subsidiary’s business objective is to provide computer programming activities and related services in Zambia. The initial investment in Yabx Zambia is ZMW 20,000.
Subsidiary Incorporation
Yabx Technologies Zambia Limited (Yabx Zambia) was officially incorporated on December 12, 2025. This entity will operate as a step-down subsidiary under Comviva Technologies Limited, which is wholly owned by Tech Mahindra. The incorporation certificate was issued by the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA).
Business Focus
Yabx Zambia will focus on providing computer programming and related services within Zambia. The initial share capital investment is ZMW 20,000, consisting of 20,000 shares valued at ZMW 1 each. Currently, Yabx Zambia has yet to commence business operations.
Ownership Structure
The ownership of Yabx Zambia is entirely held by Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited. The new subsidiary is considered a related party to Tech Mahindra.
Strategic Alignment
The creation of Yabx Zambia aligns with the core business activities of Tech Mahindra and will aim to provide software and analytics platform services to banks, micro-financial institutions, and other lenders within the Zambian market. Yabx Zambia is newly incorporated as of December 12th, 2025.
