The CoE aims to shift operations from rule-based automation to intelligent, self-governing systems using Agentic AI and observability tools. This collaboration leverages TCS’s industry expertise and Cisco’s AI-driven technology to accelerate the transition to Zero-touch operations, enhancing business agility and delivering measurable impact for customers.
TCS and Cisco Forge Strategic Collaboration
On February 20, 2026, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a significant partnership with Cisco to launch a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, India. This specialized center is dedicated to advancing Autonomous Enterprise Operations.
The primary goal of the CoE is to move enterprises beyond traditional rule-based automation toward intelligent, self-governing operations. By enabling Zero-touch operations, the initiative seeks to reduce complexity and achieve exponential business outcomes by eliminating friction within existing IT environments.
Focus on Agentic AI and Autonomy
The CoE, situated at the TCS Synergy Park Campus in Hyderabad, will focus on making AI real for customers. Solutions developed here will adhere to the TCS five-level Services Autonomy Model. The shift toward ‘Autonomous Operations’ will be powered by an Agentic AI mesh, enabling systems to:
- Sense and contextualize behavioral states using observability.
- Assist and automate via conversational AI layers.
- Orchestrate and self-heal using intelligent automation frameworks.
This evolution shifts the IT focus from mere performance metrics to direct business outcomes, moving away from siloed operations toward integrated, experience-focused models.
Executive Statements
Tim Coogan, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Sales, Cisco, emphasized the strength of the partnership, stating the CoE combines Cisco’s AI-driven technology with TCS’s deep industry expertise to accelerate the journey toward autonomous operations.
V. Rajanna, President, Technology Software and Services, TCS, noted that the CoE will function as a co-innovation platform. He highlighted that the collaboration builds on over two decades of partnership, aiming to empower enterprises with self-learning, self-action, and self-governance capabilities for improved business agility.
Technology Ecosystem
The customized solutions curated by the CoE will utilize a mosaic of advanced products, including Cisco’s AppDynamics, Cisco Splunk, TCS ignio™™, and TCS Cognix™™, alongside comprehensive enterprise-grade tool ecosystems. These advancements are designed to provide real-time visibility and AI-driven problem-solving, setting the stage for a new era in Agent + Human Collaboration.
TCS reports consolidated revenues of over US $30 billion for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.
