Tata Power Allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures Approved

Tata Power has announced the allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) totaling ₹2,000 crore on a private placement basis. The NCDs, which are Unsecured, Senior, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, and Taxable, have coupon rates of 7.05% for Series I and 7.25% for Series II. The allotment was approved on December 19, 2025, following the rate discovery on December 18, 2025.

NCD Allotment Details

Tata Power has successfully completed the allotment of Unsecured, Senior, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, Taxable Non-Cumulative Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) aggregating to ₹2,000 crore. These NCDs were issued through a private placement offering. The company discovered the coupon rates for the NCDs using the Electronic Book Building Platform of BSE Limited.

Coupon Rates and Series

The coupon rate finalized for Series I NCDs is 7.05%, while Series II NCDs carry a coupon rate of 7.25%. The allotment of 1,00,000 NCDs each for both series has been approved on December 19, 2025.

Face Value and Tenor

Each NCD has a face value of ₹1,00,000. The funds raised, totaling ₹2,000 crore, are for a tenor of 3 years and 5 years for Series I and Series II respectively. These NCDs have been allocated to identified investors through private placement, according to the terms outlined in the Placement Memorandum.
