Q3 FY26 Sales Performance
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. announced a strong sales performance in Q3 FY26, with total sales in the domestic and international markets reaching 171,013 units. This represents a significant increase of 22.3% compared to the 139,829 units sold in Q3 FY25.
Segment-wise Growth
The company experienced robust growth across its various segments:
PV Domestic: Sales increased by 13.1%, reaching 50,046 units in Q3 FY26 compared to 44,230 units in Q3 FY25.
PV International Business: Sales saw a substantial jump of 701.7%, with 473 units sold in Q3 FY26 compared to 59 units in Q3 FY25.
Total PV Sales (including EV): Reached 50,519 units, a 14.1% increase from the 44,289 units sold in Q3 FY25.
EV (Domestic + IB): Sales grew by 49.5%, with 6,906 units sold in Q3 FY26 compared to 5,562 units in Q3 FY25.
Key Highlights and Strategic Focus
Tata Motors achieved its highest-ever quarterly wholesales in Q3 FY26. Retail sales also crossed the milestone of 200,000 units for the first time, driven by models like the Nexon and Punch.
The company has strategically focused on demand-led growth, resulting in a decrease in dealer inventory to approximately 18 days. The multi-powertrain strategy, including CNG and EV offerings, has contributed to exceptional YoY growth.
