Kingfisher Plc, a major home improvement retailer with over 1,900 stores across seven countries, is deepening its collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to drive AI-powered transformation. The partnership focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and integrating emerging technologies to reduce operating costs.
Innovation and Automation Office
TCS and Kingfisher will establish a joint ‘Innovation and Automation Office’. This office will focus on seamlessly integrating emerging technologies and best practices, leveraging automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize various aspects of Kingfisher’s operations. The goal is to facilitate more agile and efficient processes across the company.
AI-Powered IT Operations
As part of the agreement, TCS will implement a domain-focused application support structure to align with Kingfisher’s product and platform approach. The integration will build on the success of TCS’s ignio™ platform and its generative AI-powered Application Reliability Engineering solution. This technology aims to provide actionable insights and enable proactive management of IT systems.
