Tata Consultancy Services Board Recommends Walker Chandiok & Co LLP as New Statutory Auditors

The Board of Directors of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has recommended the appointment of Walker Chandiok & Co LLP as the new Statutory Auditors. This recommendation follows the Audit Committee’s approval during the meeting held on February 28, 2026. Walker Chandiok & Co LLP is slated to serve a five-year term, succeeding the current auditor, BSR & Co. LLP. The appointment is provisional, pending final approval from the Members at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

In compliance with regulatory disclosures, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that its Board of Directors convened on February 28, 2026, concluding at 6:10 p.m. The primary agenda item addressed the reappointment and transition of the company’s Statutory Auditors.

Based on the recommendation from the Audit Committee, the Board approved the appointment of Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, Chartered Accountants (ICAI Firm Registration No. 001076N/N500013), as the Statutory Auditors for the Company. This proposed appointment is subject to the necessary approval from the Members of the Company.

New Term Structure and Predecessor Auditor

The recommended tenure for Walker Chandiok & Co LLP is a substantial term of five consecutive years. This term is set to commence from the conclusion of the 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to be held in the year 2027, and continue until the conclusion of the 37th AGM, scheduled in the year 2032.

The current Statutory Auditors, BSR & Co. LLP (ICAI Firm Registration No. 101248W/W-100022), will continue their tenure until the conclusion of the 32nd AGM in 2027, marking the completion of their second term.
