Tax Implications of Dividends
Shareholders should note that, in accordance with the Finance Act, 2020, any dividend income will be taxable in the hands of the shareholders, effective from April 1, 2020. Any Third Interim dividend shall be paid after deducting tax at source (TDS). Sonata Software will communicate details to shareholders to assist them in determining the appropriate TDS rates.
