Alagesan Thasari has been appointed as the Head of Automotive Business at SKF India, effective September 30, 2025. The appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and subsequent approval by the Board of Directors.
Alagesan Thasari’s Background
Mr. Thasari holds an MBA from Durham University Business School and a Master of Science from BITS Pilani. He brings over 25 years of experience to SKF India. His career includes leadership roles at:
- Alstom Transportation
- Caterpillar Inc.
- Wipro Technologies
- Lite-On @ Nokia SEZ
- Bharti Airtel
- TVS Motor company
Experience and Expertise
Thasari’s experience covers a broad range of responsibilities, including managing sales, P&L, and end-to-end business streams such as strategy, marketing, strategic supply chain, and operations. He also has experience in research and product development, as well as leading complex programs for capacity expansion, localization, and new product commercialization.
