SJVN Limited announced that its 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station (HPS) in Himachal Pradesh surpassed its previous record, achieving its Highest-Ever Generation on March 26, 2026. The station generated over 2098.03 million units, exceeding the prior peak set in FY 2019–20. Furthermore, the station achieved its Design Energy target for FY 2025-26 faster than ever before since commissioning, highlighting exceptional operational efficiency.
SJVN’s Rampur HPS Sets New Generation Benchmark
SJVN Limited has officially reported a significant operational milestone achieved by its 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station (HPS) located in Himachal Pradesh. On March 26, 2026, the power station successfully surpassed its all-time highest annual generation record.
The new record stands at 2098.03 million units, exceeding the previous high recorded during the Financial Year 2019–20. Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, confirmed the achievement.

Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN, witnessed the surpassing of the record during a visit to the power house. He commended the OEM team and other members for their dedication and commitment, emphasizing that such milestones are a result of consistent hard work and pursuit of excellence.

Fastest Achievement of Design Energy Target
The Rampur HPS continues to demonstrate exceptional performance since its commissioning. In a related achievement, the Power Station reached its Design Energy target of 1,878 million units for the financial year 2025-26 remarkably early, specifically on December 8, 2025. This marks the fastest achievement of the Design Energy target since the station began operation.
