Segmental Highlights: Volumes and Realizations
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel sales volume saw a decrease of 3.10% YoY, reaching 8,286 MT. However, average realization experienced a substantial increase of 18.81% YoY to Rs. 1,53,537/MT. MoM, volumes dipped by 2.30% while realizations rose by 9.54%.
Aluminium Foil
This segment faced a volume challenge, with a YoY decrease of 12.98% (1,467 MT). Despite this, average realization increased by 15.63% YoY. MoM comparisons showed a steep volume decline of 24.01%.
Pellet
The Pellet segment demonstrated robust growth, with sales volume increasing by an impressive 30.67% YoY to 60,613 MT. Average realization also grew by 10.15% YoY. MoM data showed a significant volume drop of 45.30%.
Speciality Alloys
Speciality Alloys maintained positive momentum, posting a 1.86% YoY increase in volume (17,384 MT) and a 12.03% YoY increase in realization.
Carbon Steel (Billet and Long Steel Products)
Carbon Steel sales volumes grew by 7.88% YoY, totaling 1,44,050 MT. Realization increased by 4.70% YoY. MoM volumes decreased by 7.06%.
CR Coil/CR Sheets
This category experienced the largest volume surge YoY, jumping by 169.15% (15,221 MT), with realizations also climbing 14.58% YoY.
HR Tube/Pipe
Sales volume in HR Tube/Pipe increased dramatically by 352.99% YoY (217 MT), with a 9.94% YoY increase in realization. This unit began commercial sales in February 2025.
Sponge Iron
Sponge Iron volumes saw a contraction, falling by 16.24% YoY (63,361 MT). Realizations, however, improved by 4.55% YoY.
Pig Iron
Pig Iron reported an exceptional volume jump of 75.36% YoY (45,209 MT), coupled with a 15.63% YoY increase in average realization.
