Financial Performance
Shriram Finance Limited (SFL) announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026. Key highlights include:
- Net Interest Income for Q2 FY26 increased by 11.77% to Rs. 6,266.84 crores, compared to Rs. 5,606.74 crores in the same period last year.
- Profit after tax increased by 11.39%, reaching Rs. 2,307.18 crores, compared to Rs. 2,071.26 crores in the corresponding period of the previous year.
- Basic earnings per share increased by 11.34% to Rs. 12.27.
Dividend Announcement
The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 4.80 per share (240%). The record date for determining entitlement to the dividend is set for November 07, 2025. Payment will be made before November 30, 2025.
Assets Under Management (AUM)
As of September 30, 2025, total AUM increased by 15.74% year-on-year:
- AUM reached Rs. 2,81,309.46 crores, compared to Rs. 2,43,042.55 crores on September 30, 2024.
- Compared to June 30, 2025, when AUM was Rs. 2,72,249.01 crores, the company also saw growth.
Business Updates
The company’s board has approved:
- Periodical resource mobilization plan, including issuance of debt securities.
- Renewal of limit to issue debentures on private placement basis up to Rs. 35,000 crore.
- Issuance of redeemable non-convertible debentures / subordinated debentures on private placement basis, subject to member approval.
Subsidiary Performance
- Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) revenue from operation earned Rs. 626.2 mn in Q2 FY26 as against Rs. 510.5 mn in Q2 FY25 and Profit after Tax (PAT) was Rs. 99.0 mn in Q2 FY26 as against Rs. 75.9 mn in Q2 FY25, its share of Profit of Associate was Rs. 44.1 mn in Q2 FY26 as against Rs. 33.8 mn in Q2 FY25.
- Shriram Overseas Investments Limited (SOIL) revenue from operation earned Rs. 46.5 mn in Q2 FY26 as against Rs. 8.5 mn in Q2 FY25 and Profit after Tax (PAT) was Rs. 24.5 mn in Q2 FY26 as against Rs. 15.2 mn in Q2 FY25.
