EBITDA grew by 44% to ₹851 crore, and Profit After Tax (PAT) surged by 198% to ₹277 crore. The company’s performance was driven by volume gains, premiumization strategy, and operational efficiency. Shree Cement’s UAE operations also saw substantial growth.
Financial Performance
Shree Cement reported a revenue of ₹4,303 crore for Q2 FY26, a 15% increase compared to the same quarter last year. The growth was attributed to increased volumes and a premiumization strategy. The company’s Operating Profit (EBITDA) reached ₹851 crore, reflecting a 44% growth due to operational efficiencies and strategic cost management. Profit After Tax (PAT) significantly increased by 198%, reaching ₹277 crore.
Operational Highlights
The company’s cement sales volume increased by 6.8% year-on-year. Sales of premium products constituted 21.1% of total trade volume, compared to 14.9% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
UAE Operations
Shree Cement’s operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) showed strong results. Revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, was AED 231.80 million, a 50% year-on-year increase. The operational EBITDA rose by 158%, from AED 20.34 million to AED 52.53 million. Total sales volume increased by 34%, from 9.87 lakh tonnes to 13.19 lakh tonnes.
Capex and Expansion
During the quarter, Shree Cement commissioned a clinkerisation line of 3.65 MTPA capacity at its integrated project plant in Jaitaran, Rajasthan. A cement mill of 3.0 MTPA capacity at the same site is expected to be commissioned soon. The integrated project at Kodla, Karnataka, with a cement capacity of 3.0 MTPA, is in the final stages of completion.
Sustainability Initiatives
The company’s share of green electricity in total electricity consumption was 63.15% in H1 FY26. Green power generation capacity stood at 592.4 MW at the end of H1 FY26. A 20 MW solar power plant was commissioned at Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, under Shree Cement East Pvt. Ltd. The group’s total green power generation capacity in India is now 612.5 MW. All manufacturing locations are Zero Liquid Discharge facilities.
Ready-Mix Concrete Business
Shree Cement is expanding its Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) business, with 24 operational RMC plants currently. The company has entered the East India market by setting up an RMC plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. It has also commissioned India’s first RMC solar plant at its Jaipur facility.
