Following this acquisition, SBI now holds a total of 14,90,000 shares, representing a 7.45% stake in the company. This move is aimed at supporting Raajmarg Infra’s role as an Investment Manager for infrastructure projects.

State Bank of India (SBI) has subscribed to 5,10,000 equity shares of Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers Private Limited through a rights issue. Post-acquisition, SBI’s total shareholding in the company amounts to 14,90,000 shares, which translates to a 7.45% stake.

About Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers

Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on August 22, 2025. The company will act as an Investment Manager. The authorized capital is Rs. 20 crore.

Purpose of the Investment

The investment aims to support Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers in its role as an Investment Manager. Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers will provide investment management services to a proposed public InvIT (Infrastructure Investment Trust). The InvIT is to be sponsored by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
