Pursuant to a nomination order dated March 18, 2026, the Board approved the appointment of Shri T.N. Natarajan to the position of Director (Commercial), effective March 19, 2026.
The company affirmed that Shri Natarajan is currently not debarred from holding the Office of Director by any regulatory authority.

Shri T.N. Natarajan commenced his journey with SAIL in 1993 as a Management Trainee (Technical) at Bhilai Steel Plant. He possesses over 32 years of experience, with deep exposure spanning manufacturing operations, warehouse management, marketing, and customer engagement across multiple locations.
Key Career Highlights
- Transferred to Central Marketing Organisation (CMO) in 2003, focusing initially on warehouse operations in Bangalore and Chennai.
- As Warehouse Manager in Chennai (starting 2009), he secured the first ISO 14001 Environmental Certification for a SAIL Warehouse.
- Served as Branch Manager in Trichy (2014 to 2018), driving market expansion and servicing MSME clusters, which resulted in an increase in annual sales during that period.
- As Key Account Manager (2018 to 2022), he concentrated on building long-term strategic relationships with key customers.
