Appointment of New Chief Strategy Officer
Shri Manish Tiwari has been appointed as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), taking over the charge from his previous designation as GGM/ES&T. Furthermore, Shri Tiwari will ex-officio function as the Chief Operating Officer of RITES EXPOCON, effective the same date. Consequently, Shri Tiwari has become part of the Company’s Senior Management Personnel.

Shri Tiwari holds a Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Bhopal, complemented by a Master’s in Quality Engineering from B.I.T, Mesra. His extensive experience includes handling Power Procurement, Power planning, and providing advisory services to Indian Railways concerning regulatory matters, such as deemed licensee status. He also possesses significant expertise in Quality Assurance, third-party inspection of equipment procured by Indian Railways, and drafting power purchase agreements.
Relieving of Executive Director
Simultaneously, Shri Rajesh Naik, who was serving as the Executive Director and CSO, has been relieved from his duties at RITES. This departure follows the approval of his appointment as Director (Projects) of Ircon International Limited. Shri Naik ceased to be part of the Senior Management of RITES as of February 13, 2026.
