RHI Magnesita Achieves Record Quarterly Revenue, Eyes Margin Improvement

RHI Magnesita India reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of INR 1,035 crores in Q2 FY26, driven by increased volumes and market share gains. While margins faced pressure, the company anticipates improvement in upcoming quarters through cost optimization, product innovation, and favorable raw material pricing. The company aims to achieve an EBITDA margin similar to last year’s levels.

Financial Performance Highlights

RHI Magnesita India achieved a record quarterly revenue, reaching INR 1,035 crores in Q2 FY26. This represents an 8% sequential growth over Q1 FY26 and a 19% year-on-year increase. Shipment volume reached 141 KT, marking a 9% quarter-on-quarter increase and an 18% year-on-year increase. Operating EBITDA for Q2 FY26 was INR 111 crores, with an EBITDA margin of 10.7%, a 7% improvement over the previous quarter. Profit after tax was INR 38 crores, up 9% sequentially from Q1.

Strategic Initiatives and Market Position

The company successfully completed the product transfer of ANKRAL and Radex cement bricks from its global technology network into India. This is expected to unlock further value for shareholders. The integration with Ashwath Technologies is also progressing well. RHI Magnesita India is focused on strengthening its market position through alignment with customer needs and effective execution.

Outlook and Future Strategy

The company anticipates margin improvement in upcoming quarters due to lowering of raw material prices, recipe optimization, and performance bonus expectations. RHI Magnesita aims for an EBITDA margin similar to last year’s level. The order book remains robust, particularly in the steel sector, where major mills have confirmed substantial capex expenditure plans. The cement segment also shows strong momentum. The company expects continued growth driven by strong industrial demand and solid execution of its strategy.
