Reliance Power Limited Executive Director Resigns Amid Investigation

Ashok Kumar Pal, Executive Director and CFO of Reliance Power Limited, has resigned effective October 11, 2025. Pal maintains his innocence and is cooperating with authorities.

Executive Departure

Reliance Power Limited has announced the resignation of Ashok Kumar Pal from his position as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer. The resignation took effect on October 11, 2025.

Subsequently, the Enforcement Directorate registered an ECIR (ECIR/STF/14/2025, dated June 16, 2025), leading to Mr. Pal’s arrest on October 10, 2025.

Pal’s Statement

In his resignation letter, Mr. Pal stated that he maintains his innocence. He further communicated that he is not involved in any wrongdoing and is tendering his resignation to avoid any conflict of interest while the investigation is conducted.
