Reliance stated that it denies receiving Russian oil at its Jamnagar refinery in recent weeks, as per the news clarification. The company also asserted that there is no direct connection between the news report and fluctuations in its equity share prices.

Bloomberg Report Update

While Reliance denies receiving Russian oil, a Bloomberg report initially indicated that ‘three vessels’ carrying Russian Oil were en route to Reliance Industries Limited’s Jamnagar refinery. However, Bloomberg later updated its reporting to clarify that the Russian Oil Cargo was being discharged elsewhere.
