Reliance Industries RCPL Acquires Majority Stake in Australia’s Goodness Group

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has acquired a majority stake in Australia’s Goodness Group Global (GGG), a ‘Better-For-You’ beverage business. This marks RCPL’s entry into the Australian consumer goods market. The strategic partnership will promote GGG’s healthy beverage brands like Nexba and PACE, co-created with Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins, in new markets, including India, and strengthens RCPL’s health-based beverage portfolio.

Strategic Acquisition in Australia

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Goodness Group Global Pty. Ltd. (GGG), an Australian beverage business focused on ‘Better-For-You’ products. This deal, announced on February 7, 2026, signifies RCPL’s entrance into the Australian consumer market and reinforces its commitment to providing global quality products at affordable prices.

Partnership Details and Brand Expansion

The strategic partnership will enable RCPL to promote GGG’s key brands, including Nexba and PACE (a hydration brand co-created with Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins), across various markets, including India. This move is aimed at strengthening RCPL’s portfolio of health-based beverages. GGG’s flagship brand, Nexba, is known as an iconic gut-health beverage prepared with their all-natural, plant-based zero-calorie sweetener, Goodsweet®.

Goodness Group Global Offerings

Sydney-based Goodness Group Global offers healthier beverage choices across Australia and in 21 other global markets. Besides Nexba and PACE, other notable offerings include BISON, a light protein-based beverage, and GOOD BREKKIE, a liquid breakfast option.

RCPL’s Global Expansion Strategy

This acquisition aligns with RCPL’s broader strategy of becoming a global FMCG player from India. The company has already established its presence in key global markets, including UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
