WR ER Part C Power Transmission Limited has an authorized capital of ₹5,00,000 and a paid-up capital of ₹5,00,000. It is a newly incorporated company and is yet to commence its business. REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has been appointed as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) by the Ministry of Power, Government of India for an inter-state transmission project related to WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme- Part C.
Details of WR ER Part A Power Transmission Limited
WR ER Part A Power Transmission Limited mirrors the capital structure of its counterpart, with an authorized capital of ₹5,00,000 and a paid-up capital of ₹5,00,000. Like the ‘Part C’ subsidiary, it is also newly established and awaiting business commencement. RECPDCL also serves as the BPC for an inter-state transmission project under the WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme- Part-A, as designated by the Ministry of Power.
Strategic Rationale
Both subsidiaries were created to manage inter-state power transmission projects and will be transferred to successful bidders following Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. These companies are considered related parties of REC Limited due to their status as Wholly Owned Subsidiaries of RECPDCL.
