This entity is a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited. The subsidiary will be transferred to a successful bidder for the 220/132/33 kV AIS Musalgaon project.

REC Limited has announced the incorporation of Musalgaon Power Transmission Limited as a wholly-owned subsidiary. The incorporation took place on December 20, 2025. This new entity will focus on power transmission projects.

Musalgaon Power Transmission Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited.
Authorized Capital: ₹5,00,000
Paid-up Capital: ₹5,00,000
The Government of Maharashtra had allocated an intra-state transmission project and appointed RECPDCL as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for selecting a bidder for the establishment of 220/132/33 kV AIS Musalgaon (Dist. Nashik).
After the selection of the successful bidder, Musalgaon Power Transmission Limited will be transferred to them, along with all assets and liabilities.
Purpose of the Subsidiary
The company has been incorporated for the Establishment of 220/132/33 kV AIS Musalgaon (Dist. Nashik). REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) acts as the “BPC” for selection of Transmission Service Provider.
