Reason for Resignation

According to the announcement, the reason for the resignation centers around limitations regarding direct audit participation in the company’s consolidated operations. As a result, Walker Chandiok & Co LLP stated they are unable to fulfill their responsibilities as the principal auditor, conforming to the standards of Auditing (SA) 600.

Ongoing Engagements

Despite the resignation from Raymond Limited, Walker Chandiok & Co LLP will continue their role as the Statutory Auditors of both Raymond Lifestyle Limited and Raymond Realty Limited. The company has stated that the audit committee was not required to deliberate on the matter.
