Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF) announced changes to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026. Ms. Nazhat J. Shaikh has assumed the charge of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). Simultaneously, Shri. S C Mudgerikar has superannuated from his services as Chairman & Managing Director, ceasing his role on December 31, 2025.

Effective January 1, 2026, Ms. Nazhat J. Shaikh has officially assumed the role of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited. This follows an earlier announcement regarding the entrustment of the additional charge to Ms. Shaikh.
Departure of Shri. S C Mudgerikar
Shri. S C Mudgerikar has superannuated from his position as Chairman & Managing Director, effective December 31, 2025, at the closure of business hours. This marks the end of his tenure with the company.
Ms. Nazhat J. Shaikh: A Profile
Ms. Nazhat J Shaikh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She is also a certified SAP FI Consultant.
Her career with RCF began in 1989 as an Accounts Officer. Throughout her service, she has held various responsibilities in Finance, including roles in Trombay, Fertilizer Marketing, and Corporate divisions. She also oversaw IT responsibilities during the company’s SAP ERP implementation and upgrade.
Prior to becoming CMD, Ms. Shaikh was selected as Director (Finance) in National Film Development Corporation, joining in November 2015 after taking a lien from Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd.
She rejoined RCF as Executive Director (Finance) on August 1, 2019. In this role, she was responsible for the finance, accounting, taxation, and related reporting and compliances, treasury function, and financial concurrence of proposals. She has over 30 years of experience in the fertilizer industry.
