Rail Vikas Nigam Limited Emerges as Lowest Bidder for South Central Railway Project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in a reverse auction from South Central Railway. The project involves design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for OHE up gradation of existing systems. The project is valued at ₹144,44,51,878.04 and is part of RVNL’s normal course of business.

RVNL Wins South Central Railway Bid

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a project with the South Central Railway, as announced on October 17, 2025.

Project Details

The project entails the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for OHE up gradation of existing 1X25kV system to 2X25kV AT feeding system with feeder and earthing works in Ramgundam (RDM) – Kazipet (KZJ) section of Secunderabad Division. The total length of the project covers 92 RKM/ 276 TKM.

Financial Consideration

The cost of the work is Rs 144,44,51,878.04/- (Rupees One Hundred Forty Four Crore Forty Four Lakh Fifty One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Eight and Four Paisa), inclusive of applicable taxes.
