Director’s Profile

Shri B. K. Jain is an officer from the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) from the 1992 batch and currently serves as Executive Director/L&A, Railway Board. He has over three decades of experience in Indian Railways. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee and an M.Tech from IIT Delhi.

Experience and Expertise

During his career, Shri Jain has served in various capacities within Indian Railways, gaining expertise in new line construction, doubling and gauge conversion projects, railway land management, and disaster preparedness. He has also worked with various State Governments, PSUs, and other Ministries.
